Born in CA, grew up in Mt. Vernon WA, live now in Kent, WA
What were your favorite subjects while studying in school?
Music History, Instrumental Conducting & Science
Do you have a favorite movie?
Favorite movie: Austin Powers - all three (I hear they are working on a fourth movie and possibly taking it to Broadway too!)
Do you play a musical instrument?
Yes, cello is my main instrument. Like most music educators I have a working knowledge and ability to play multiple orchestral instruments.
What kinds of music do you like to listen to and/or play?
classical, pop, hip hop, rap, jazz well and everything...

Are there any specific experiences that you found very helpful in getting you to where you are now?
For me the experience that has helped me the most in my job is all the small experiences along my course of study and life. If I had to say one thing it would be the experience of playing in an orchestra.
