Covington PTA fundraising directly
impacts and benefits your children, their teachers and Covington
faculty. We need your participation to keep providing
opportunities and support for Covington Elementary.
Our fall fundraiser is our biggest fundraiser
of the year and all of the money earned through this goes
directly to funding programs, supplies and activities for
Covington Elementary. This fall the fundraiser will run from
9/28 through 10/12. The students will have a kick-off on 9/28
and bring home their order forms and catalogs that day. Please
help them safely collect all orders and monies and turn them in
by 10/12 or 10/13. PTA volunteers will be at the school on those
two days collecting fundraiser packets and funds as the kids
arrive at school. Thank you so much in advance for supporting
the PTA and all that we are able to do for the children and
Staff of Covington.
Welcome to a new year at Covington Elementary!
We are still involved in the eScrip fundraiser available
in our area through Safeway.
All we need is the Safeway Club Card Number and the name
and address of the Card Holder.
Once a card has been registered it allows Safeway to
donate a portion of purchases made to Covington Elementary PTA.
This is a safe (information is for eScrip only and will
not be shared in any way), free and easy way for our Covington
Elementary PTA to earn money.
All money earned benefits every student throughout the
year. Register your Safeway Club Card and/or credit card numbers
at
www.escrip.com, designating Covington Elementary as the
group you want to support, and ESCRIP will automatically track
your expenditures and send a check to our PTA.
After you have registered your card number, there is
nothing else for you to do. There is nothing extra to buy.
You simply do your regular shopping and a percentage of
the total amount you spent is donated to the school by Safeway.
From April 1, 2009-March 31, 2010, Covington Elementary
earned approximately $374.00 from Safeway.
This is enough to pay for an assembly or Field Day and
just think, all it took was some people going online and
registering their cards.
Most of us use our phone number while shopping
at Safeway. Your
card number is different and came on your Safeway Club card. If
you need your Club card number, please call 1.877.723.3929.
Remain on the line at the prompt (do not enter #2 or #3).
You will then be asked to enter your phone number and
will be transferred to an operator.
They will verify that you are the card holder using your
date of birth, home address etc., prior to giving you your card
number. We

Each Box Top coupon is worth 10 for our school. You can
clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of your favorite products.
From General Mills products and partnering brands, like
Cheerios, Betty Crocker, Hefty, Juicy Juice, Ziploc,
Kleenex and many more. Just clip the official coupons and save
them. Periodically send them to school with your student in a
zip top bag with the students name on it. It's free money that
greatly benefits Covington Elementary PTA.
