Technology Standards in the Kent School District

Student technology standards describe what technology skills students should learn and when they should learn them. Parents, students and educators can see how the skills and knowledge build from year to year. 

Kent's standards are aligned with the knowledge sequence recommended by state and national organizations, such as the International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE) and the Partnership for 21st Century Skills with local enhancements.

The Kent teacher Tiers of Technology Integration standards are designed to enable teachers to successfully deliver an engaging curriculum that integrates  technology tools in their classrooms.
