Assistive Technology

Student working on a computer using Assistive Technology.The Kent School District Instructional and Assistive Technology Team (IATT) provides services to students in both general and special education. 

The goals of our IATT are to:

1)      Use grant resources in combination with designated Special Education funds to provide assistive technology hardware and software to struggling learners across the district.

2)      Provide staff training on use of assistive technology with students.

3)      Assess individual student need for assistive technology.

4)      Support KSD teachers in using new AT equipment with students.
